Job summary

Western Sydney University invites applications for a full-time HEW Level 5 position at Campbelltown campus, supporting the Mass Spectrometry Research Facility. You will provide advanced technical support, training and instrument expertise to researchers, ensuring reliable analytical services and safe operation of equipment.

You will operate, calibrate and maintain MS systems, contribute to method development, and manage lab records and SOPs while collaborating with staff, students and partners.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate qualification in Analytical Chemistry, Chemistry or Biochemistry or related field.
• Demonstrated experience in a chemistry laboratory or related facility.
• Experience providing technical support and instruction in labs.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced technical support and training for researchers using the Mass Spectrometry Research Facility.
• Operate, calibrate and maintain complex analytical equipment.
• Maintain laboratory records, safety data sheets and SOPs.
