Job summary

Big Dog Australia is seeking a commercially minded Marketing Manager to lead growth across Australia and beyond from our Narangba office. You’ll steer strategy, lead an in-house creative team, and deliver campaigns across digital, retail and partnerships to drive revenue and brand equity.

You have 10+ years in marketing (FMCG/retail/eCommerce), strong budget control, leadership skills and a passion for pets. This hands-on leadership role offers real ownership in a fast-growing, purpose-led brand.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years in marketing roles (FMCG, retail, eCommerce or similar preferred).
  • Proven experience managing campaigns and budgets.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Commercial mindset with a focus on results and growth.
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Passion for pets, health or purpose-driven brands (highly regarded).

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute integrated marketing plans (ATL & BTL).
  • Deliver campaigns across digital, social, retail and partnerships.
  • Strengthen brand awareness and customer engagement.
  • Manage and optimise the marketing budget.
  • Track campaign performance, ROI and key growth metrics.
  • Align marketing initiatives with revenue and business targets.
  • Lead, mentor and develop a high-performing marketing team.
  • Manage sponsorships, partnerships and brand collaborations.
  • Lead the Big Dog ambassador and influencer program.
  • Identify and execute new growth opportunities.
  • Work closely with Sales to drive revenue outcomes.
  • Support global expansion and export growth initiatives.

About the Role

We’re looking for a commercially minded Marketing Manager to lead our marketing strategy and execution across Australia and beyond.

Reporting to the Managing Director, this is a hands‑on leadership role where you’ll:

Drive brand growth and customer acquisition

Lead a talented in‑house creative and content team

Deliver impactful campaigns across multiple channels

Play a key role in scaling the business

What You’ll Be Responsible For:

Build a collaborative, accountable and positive team culture

Partnerships & Growth

Manage sponsorships, partnerships and brand collaborations

Lead the Big Dog ambassador and influencer program

Identify and execute new growth opportunities

Cross‑Functional Collaboration

Work closely with Sales to drive revenue outcomes

Partner with Operations to align demand with supply

Support global expansion and export growth initiatives

About You

10+ years’ experience in marketing roles (FMCG, retail, eCommerce or similar preferred)
