Job summary

Profusion's Financial Services client is building a foundational marketing data platform from the ground up to power next-generation analytics. We seek an experienced Data Engineer to design robust, scalable ingestion pipelines and data quality controls that ingest from diverse marketing sources.

You will architect scalable ETL/ELT frameworks, manage daily, weekly and monthly refresh cadences, and contribute to MMM initiatives. Sydney-based, 8-month day-rate contract with three days onsite.

Qualifications

• Strong SQL skills and query optimisation.
• Proven experience building API-based integrations.
• Experience with cloud data platforms (BigQuery, Cloud Storage).
• Familiarity with CI/CD and DevOps practices.

Responsibilities

• Design and build automated data ingestion pipelines from marketing sources.
• Architect scalable ETL/ELT frameworks.
• Manage daily, weekly, and monthly refresh cadences.
• Build data quality rules, validation checks and monitoring.
• Lay groundwork for MMM and marketing performance measurement.
• Deliver production-grade ingestion framework and documentation.
