Job summary

FRANCHISE & MULTI-SITE SUPPORT SERVICES is recruiting a Marketing Assistant & Graphic Designer to drive growth for a mid-sized QSR franchise network in Australia. You’ll manage social channels, craft promotional artwork, and help implement national and local promotions.

Recent graduates welcome; experience in design, photography, and AI-enabled tools is a plus. The role involves collaboration with Franchise Partners and Store Managers, with occasional after-hours work when needed.

Qualifications

• Marketing skills and experience, or the ability to learn quickly.
• Graphic design, photography, and photo/video editing experience is beneficial.
• Experience and willingness to use AI for graphic design, videography and other tasks is beneficial.
• Experience with website maintenance, apps, ecommerce and social media management is beneficial.
• Knowledge of QSR and hospitality market and franchising is beneficial.
• Ability to work autonomously and in a small team is essential.
• Very high level of organisational skills and attention to detail is essential.
• High productivity and drive to succeed are essential.
• Occasional availability outside regular hours may be required.

We are currently recruiting a Marketing Assistant & Graphic Designer for a mid-sized franchise network operating multiple brands in the QSR sector. The brands have a long history and represent a massive opportunity for growth and development moving forward. You could become a key driver of the future direction and growth of these brands.

Key responsibilities:

Assist with the day-to-day management of social media channels, including content creation, scheduling, monitoring engagement, responding to comments and messages, and reviewing analytics.

Create engaging promotional artwork for signage, billboards, banners, posters, menus, flyers, social media, digital channels, etc.

Assist with the planning and execution of national, local and special event promotions.

Manage digital communication with the customer database through email, SMS and brand apps.

Maintain digital menus across online, app and delivery aggregator ordering platforms.

Update store information across websites, apps, social media and Google.

Assist Franchise Partners and Store Managers with their local marketing strategy and the implementation of national promotions.

Provide customer service through phone, email and social media as needed.

Create and arrange press releases when required.

About you:

Some marketing skills and experience along with a capability to fulfill the key responsibilities (listed above) is required, and/or the ability to learn quickly and in some cases take responsibility for your own learning. Recent graduates are welcome to apply.

Experience with graphic design, photography, photo and video editing is beneficial.

Experience and willingness to use AI for graphic design, videography and other tasks is beneficial.

Experience with website maintenance, apps, ecommerce and social media management is beneficial.

Knowledge of the QSR and hospitality market, as well as franchising is beneficial.

Ability to work autonomously and as part of a small team is essential.
