Job summary

The University of Melbourne is seeking a dedicated marketing and events professional to coordinate rural health campaigns and engaging content across digital, social and print channels. You will collaborate with students, clinicians and community partners to promote rural health education, training and scholarships.

You will manage multiple projects, ensure accessibility and health literacy, and support broader marketing operations, all within a supportive university team in Shepparton.

What you will deliver:

• Plan, create and deliver engaging marketing and communications content across digital, social and print channels.

You may be a great fit if you:

• Hold a relevant marketing or business qualification, or equivalent experience in marketing and event coordination.


• Demonstrate strong stakeholder engagement skills, building effective relationships with health services, community organisations and education partners.


• Exhibit excellent communication, with proven ability to create targeted content across multiple channels.


• Bring experience organising and managing large-scale events, including logistics, promotion and stakeholder coordination.


• Understand or quickly learn rural health contexts, health literacy principles and culturally safe communication practices.


• Manage multiple projects concurrently, prioritising competing deadlines while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
