Job summary

Griffin Marine Services Pty Ltd is seeking skilled Mechanical Fitters for roles across multiple sites in Australia. You will perform fitting on marine vessels and industrial equipment, reading drawings and schematics, and conducting repairs to ensure reliable operation.

Qualifications include at least 2 years of fitting experience, strong safety awareness, a current driver’s license, and the ability to work well in a team.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of fitting experience, preferably in marine/heavy industrial environments.
• Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings/schematics.
• Strong commitment to safety and PPE requirements in an industrial setting.
• Ability to work well in a team and meet deadlines.
• Current driver’s license and reliable transport.

Responsibilities

• Perform fitting on marine vessels and industrial equipment, including assembly, installation and maintenance.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics.
• Conduct mechanical repairs and fault finding on various systems.
• Use a range of hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Ensure work adheres to quality standards and technical specifications.
