Job summary

Hargrave Technologies is seeking a Manufacturing Technician to join our Australian electronics production team. You will operate automated manufacturing machinery, flash firmware, perform functional tests and assemble electronics into enclosures while ensuring traceability data is recorded accurately.

You are experienced in electronics manufacturing, detail-oriented, able to work with minimal supervision, and committed to producing high-quality work.

Qualifications

• Experienced in electronics manufacturing and assembly of PCBAs

• Ability to own tasks and identify quality issues
• Experience recording traceability data through manufacturing workflows

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor automated manufacturing machinery
• Perform firmware flashing and updates on electronics per production requirements
• Conduct functional testing to verify product specifications
• Assemble electronics into enclosures
• Accurately record traceability data throughout the process
• Prepare products for packing and dispatch per work instructions
• Follow quality, safety and production procedures to ensure consistent manufacture

What you’ll be doing

• Operate and monitor automated manufacturing machinery
• Perform firmware flashing and updates on electronics in accordance with production requirements.
• Conduct functional testing to confirm products meet required specifications
• Assemble electronics into enclosures.
• Accurately record traceability data throughout the manufacturing process.
• Prepare products for packing and dispatch in accordance with work instructions.
• Follow relevant quality, safety and production procedures to ensure products are manufactured consistently and to specification.

• Experienced in electronics manufacturing, with the ability to perform core tasks with minimal supervision.

• Experienced assembling, testing and reworking PCBAs and electronic products.

• Strong attention to detail and a genuine commitment to producing high-quality work.

• Someone who takes ownership of their work and isn’t afraid to identify and address quality issues.
