Job summary

ChoiceOne is seeking an experienced Production Scheduler for a well-established manufacturing operation based in Canning Vale, WA. You will develop and maintain detailed production schedules across machining, fabrication and assembly, coordinating with Production, Operations, Warehouse and Purchasing to meet customer delivery requirements.

Relocation to Rockingham is planned for May/June 2027; candidates should be comfortable with the move.

Qualifications

• Extensive manufacturing experience across machining, fabrication and assembly.
• Proven track record in production scheduling and coordination.
• Experience using Epicor ERP and strong organisational skills.
• Excellent communication with workshop and operational staff.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed daily and weekly production schedules.
• Schedule and sequence work orders across machining, fabrication and assembly.
• Balance workload with labour, equipment, materials and capacity.
• Monitor progress and adjust schedules as priorities change.
• Track work orders and identify potential delays.
• Collaborate with workshop supervisors and teams.
• Ensure materials are available before work commences.
• Respond to urgent orders and capacity constraints.
• Monitor delivery dates and flag potential issues.
• Maintain scheduling data in the ERP system.
• Produce scheduling and production status reports.
• Identify improvements to scheduling processes and workflow.
