Daikin Australia is seeking a proactive Safety Officer for our Manufacturing team. You will lead health and safety practices, identify and reduce risks, maintain WHS compliance, and drive a strong safety culture through training, audits, and engagement.

You will implement incident investigations, lead risk assessments, and support continuous improvement of WHS procedures while collaborating across departments. This role offers growth within a global HVAC leader and a collaborative environment.

Qualifikationen

• Certificate IV in WHS.
• 2+ years in a safety role in manufacturing.
• Knowledge of WHS compliance, hazard/risk assessment, RCA, and safety management systems e.g. DoneSafe.
• Strong verbal and written communication, problem-solving, continuous improvement mindset, teamwork.

Aufgaben

• Lead incident investigations and root cause analysis with corrective actions.
• Close out hazards promptly and maintain records.
• Conduct safety patrols, inspections and document findings.
• Lead toolbox talks and safety meetings, document minutes.
• Inspect and maintain safety and emergency equipment.
• Support emergency planning and fire drills.
