Job summary

Australian Industry Group’s Apprentice & Trainee Centre in Hervey Bay is seeking a School & Industry Engagement Coordinator to connect schools, RTOs and industry partners with Pathways to Manufacturing across the Fraser Coast region.

You will build relationships with educators and host organisations, coordinate work experience and apprenticeship pathways, and promote programs to maximise student outcomes while tracking KPIs and project deliverables.

Qualifications

• Experience partnering with external stakeholders to deliver mutually beneficial outcomes.
• Ability to drive strategic plans, KPIs, and project adherence to policies.
• Strong written and verbal communication; consultative and collaborative approach.
• Commitment to continuous improvement and achieving results.

Responsibilities

• Identifying and maintaining relationships with schools, colleges and RTOs delivering eligible programs.
• Promoting Pathways to Manufacturing, work experience and apprenticeship pathways.
• Building partnerships with Career Advisors, VET Coordinators and industry networks.
• Coordinating School to Trade activities with schools, colleges and RTOs.
• Presenting sessions to students on manufacturing career pathways and programs.
• Advising on apprenticeship and traineeship options and qualification pathways.
• Engaging eligible students and guiding them through onboarding and experiences.
• Coordinating host organisations to match candidates to pathways and days.
• Fostering long-term relationships with host organisations and business development.
• Keeping hosts updated on Employment/WHS legislation and related rules.
