Manufacturing Operator - Ink Blender & Batcher

The Company

Our client is a nationwide ink & coatings manufacturer for major players in the packaging industry. They specialise in products that are individually designed for all applications, whether it be for rigid packaging products and plastics, or paper-based products. The position requirements include but are not limited to
  • Accurately weigh, measure and mix ink products
  • Operating blending machines and perform colour matching duties
  • Maintain, clean and service mixing, weighing and proofing equipment
  • Check stock, review production schedule and provide updates to clients
  • Assist with technical problems concerning ink products.
  • Oversee supply chain process and provide monthly reports

To be considered for this role you will ideally possess the following :

  • Printing industry experience - highly desirable
  • Proven experience in a blender / batcher role with a strong mechanical aptitude
  • A team player mentality with a positive, self motivated and proactive attitude
  • Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) with a high attention to detail
  • Flexibility to work extra hours and perform ad hoc duties as required
Hours & Pay Rate

Day shift 8am to 5pm, Monday to Friday

$33.16 p / h + OT + super
