Join a very successful, long established Australian SME, having a diversified client base, including Blue Chip, Alternate Energy and Defence customers. This represents an exciting opportunity to move forward with a business currently undergoing planned growth and expansion.

We are seeking an experienced Executive, holding academic qualifications in manufacturing/engineering, to assume responsibility for the management and development of a close‑knit team, including a Production Supervisor and allied manufacturing personnel. Familiarity with jobbing operations in a metal fabrication environment is necessary, together with literacy in IT Systems.

Someone able to set and achieve budgets, streamline processes, initiate dynamic scheduling and perpetuate continuous improvement and Lean principles will be of interest. The control of resources/materials and quality standards, to achieve on time at cost outcomes, is needed. Excellent communication skills to facilitate interface with other departments, customers and suppliers where appropriate and the supervision of staff training programmes will be well regarded.
