TRS Resourcing is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Manager to lead operations for our client based in Corio, Australia.

This hands-on leadership role focuses on quality, productivity and continuous improvement within a high-precision, low-volume manufacturing environment. You will mentor the team, drive reductions in losses and waste, and ensure safe working practices. A degree in engineering and 5+ years of leadership are required, with ERP/MRP experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of manufacturing leadership experience.
• Experience in automotive, aerospace or high-precision manufacturing is highly regarded.
• Strong knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma and continuous improvement.
• Exposure to composites, automation, robotics or digital production systems.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving and project management skills.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems.
• Full Australian working rights.

Responsabilités

• Lead, mentor and manage the manufacturing team to achieve daily production targets.
• Drive quality, productivity, and the reduction of production losses and waste.
• Manage materials, consumables, plant and equipment efficiently.
• Oversee quality checks and workflow between manufacturing stages.
• Develop performance metrics and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain strong WHS, PPE and safe chemical/material handling standards.
