Job summary

Shadforths Civil Contractors on the Sunshine Coast is seeking a hands-on crew member to join our sewer and drainage team. You'll specialise in constructing and finishing sewer manholes on subdivision projects, benching, pouring in-situ necks, and supporting delivery of stormwater, sewer and water infrastructure with an experienced crew.

You will read and interpret standard drawings, work independently with a planned schedule, and contribute to quality workmanship while upholding safety

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience benching sewer manholes.
• Experience pouring in-situ sewer manhole necks.
• Current driver's licence.
• Current Confined Space ticket and construction card.
• Ability to read and work from standard drawings and construction plans.
• Capable of working independently through a scheduled list of works.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to work collaboratively with site teams and pipe crews.
• Maintain accurate daily construction records and reporting.
• Strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
