Job summary

Konekt, part of the APM Group, seeks a Rehabilitation Consultant to guide clients recovering from injury or illness. You’ll assess needs, define goals, and co-design recovery and return-to-work plans while coordinating with workplaces and healthcare providers.

Ideal candidates hold OT/PT/Exercise Physiology qualifications with registration, and are committed to client-centered care, empathy, and adaptable communication across diverse cases.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy or Exercise Physiology.
• AHPRA or ESSA (AEP) professional registration.
• Pass a national criminal check and a Working with Children Check.

Responsibilities

• Assess clients’ rehabilitation needs (physical, ergonomic, psychosocial, or functional capacity).
• Co-design and deliver tailored rehabilitation plans with clients.
• Manage cases end-to-end: coordinate with workplaces, healthcare providers and insurers, monitor progress.
• Provide expert advice on ergonomic, workplace-modification, or return-to-work strategies.
• Collaborate with clients, treating practitioners, employers and insurers to support recovery and reintegration.

Every day, people recovering from injury or illness need support and guidance to take important steps forward. As a Rehabilitation Consultant with Konekt, you’ll walk alongside clients as they navigate recovery, return to work, and help them to reconnect with what matters most.

• Assess clients’ rehabilitation needs following injury or illness — physical, ergonomic, psychosocial or functional capacity evaluations.
• Support clients to define meaningful recovery or employment goals, then co-design and deliver tailored rehabilitation plans.
• Depending on experience - a salary range between $79423- $100,00 plus super. Plus an extremely generous incentive program.
• Manage cases end-to-end: coordinate with workplaces, healthcare providers or insurers, monitor progress, adjust plans, and support sustainable outcomes.
• Provide expert advice — ergonomic, workplace-modification, functional capacity or return-to-work — based on your clinical specialism
• Build relationships and collaborate with multiple stakeholders: clients, their treating practitioners, employers, insurers — helping bring everyone together around a shared goal of recovery and reintegration

What you’ll bring

• Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy or Exercise Physiology.
• AHPRA or ESSA (AEP) professional registration.
• Pass a national criminal check, prior to commencing employment
• A current WWCC (Working with children check)
• Full Australian working rights
• A driver’s licence and willingness to work in different settings (workplaces, client homes, remote-onsite assessments and coordinate across stakeholders
