Job summary

CyberCX is seeking a Managing Consultant – Cloud Security & Solutions to lead and deliver cutting‑edge cloud security projects. You will mentor teams, manage highly complex engagements, and strengthen customer trust while guiding CyberCX’s Cloud Solutions & Security practice.

You will collaborate across teams to drive innovation, shape strategy and ensure delivery excellence for clients across Australia and New Zealand.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in professional services with cloud technologies.
• AWS, Azure or GCP certifications.
• Experience with IaaS, PaaS, SaaS and cloud security technologies.
• Architecture, design, and integration of public and hybrid cloud.

Responsibilities

• Deliver cloud services aligned with scope and CyberCX standards.
• Lead and manage large, complex cloud projects including planning and risk management.
• Coach and mentor high-performing teams.
• Provide pre-sales activity to align customer requirements with capabilities.

About the Role
We are seeking an accomplished Managing Consultant – Cloud Security & Solutions to lead and deliver cutting‑edge cloud security projects, build customer trust, and drive organisational growth. As a key member of the Cloud Security & Solutions team, you will manage highly complex cloud consultancy projects, mentor high‑performing teams, and contribute to the evolution of CyberCX as a world leader in this domain.
You will play a pivotal role in managing customer relationships and providing expert advice on cloud security solutions while collaborating across teams to lead innovation and practice uplift.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver cloud services to customers in line with the agreed scope, CyberCX standards, and industry frameworks.
• Lead and manage dynamic, complex, and sizable cloud projects, including project planning, stakeholder management, risk management, and quality assurance.
• Coach, build and mentor high-performing teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and empowerment.
• Provide pre‑sales activity and solutions to ensure customer requirements align with team capabilities.
• Contribute to customer relationships by actively engaging with sales, solutions, and marketing teams to create new opportunities and enhance existing partnerships.
• Drive internal research, innovation, and process improvement initiatives.
• Promote emerging technologies and align with the latest technology trends to drive value.

About You

You’re a recognised leader in the cloud security space, with 7+ years of experience in professional services and relevant cloud technologies. You thrive on solving problems, leading teams, and delivering solutions in fast‑paced environments. You’re proactive and highly skilled in stakeholder engagement and fostering customer trust.

Preferred Qualifications, Experience & Skills

• Tertiary qualification in Computer Science or related discipline, or equivalent industry experience.
• AWS, Azure or GCP certifications.
• Expertise in cloud services such as IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, and cloud security technologies.
• Experience in architecture, design, and integration of public cloud, hybrid cloud, and infrastructure solutions.
• Solid knowledge of Windows/Linux systems and enterprise networking.
• Proven experience managing, coaching, and mentoring high-performing teams.
• Strong analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
• Agile, resilience, and excellence in stakeholder engagement and communication.
