As a Manager Workplace Safety you’re responsible for providing leadership, direction and consultancy for the provision of services in the implementation and management of the Communities Work Health and Safety (WHS) Management System (WHSMS). You will lead a team within the WHS directorate encompassing both operational and strategic services to our client business areas, which include child protection and disability services. The position will ensure WHS services meet the needs of our clients to ensure delivery of organisational objectives whilst ensuring health, safety and wellbeing performance against all relevant legislation, standards, policies and frameworks.
There is currently a permanent position available for immediate filling. Suitable applicants will be placed in a pool from which appointments will be made for this or similar future vacancies (permanent) that arise within the next 12 months across the Department of Communities.
