Job summary

Darling Downs and West Moreton PHN in Springfield, QLD, is seeking an experienced technology leader to shape and deliver the PHN's technology strategy. You will oversee digital platforms, information systems, and cyber security to support strategic and commissioning objectives.

Qualifications

• At least 10 years' experience in ICT, including five or more years in a leadership or management role.
• Demonstrated experience leading technology strategy, ICT operations and digital transformation initiatives.
• Strong experience managing Microsoft technologies, particularly Dynamics 365, Microsoft 365, Azure and Power Platform.
• Proven experience managing Microsoft Dynamics 365 solution development, enterprise systems and technology integration.
• Strong knowledge of cyber security, technology governance, risk management and information security frameworks.
• Strong vendor management, commercial negotiation and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
• A collaborative leadership style, with the ability to build high-performing teams and influence stakeholders at all levels.
• A relevant tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Information Systems or a related discipline.
• Experience in the primary health or public health sector, together with relevant technology, project management or cyber security certifications, will be highly regarded.

• ICT Operations: Ensure reliable, secure and customer-focused technology services, infrastructure and support.
• Leadership & Partnerships: Lead and develop the technology team, manage strategic vendor relationships and work closely with stakeholders to deliver practical, sustainable solutions.

Manage the PHN's technology, digital platforms and information systems functions, ensuring secure, reliable and fit-for-purpose technology services that enable the PHN's strategic, operational and commissioning objectives.

Darling Downs and West Moreton PHN (PHN) is a not-for-profit organisation that works at a regional level to build healthier communities through a connected, sustainable and responsive primary health care system.

Our role is to support primary care and service providers to ensure the right care is there for those who need it most. Where needed, we commission additional services to enable equitable health and wellbeing.

About the role:

Reporting to the Executive Director – Strategy and Operations, you will provide strategic and operational leadership across our technology, digital platforms and information systems functions.

About You

You are an experienced and commercially minded technology leader who brings together strategic thinking, technical expertise and a genuine commitment to service excellence.

You are comfortable operating at both a strategic and operational level, with the ability to translate complex technology challenges into practical solutions and business outcomes.

To succeed in this role, you will bring:

• At least 10 years' experience in ICT, including five or more years in a leadership or management role.

• Demonstrated experience leading technology strategy, ICT operations and digital transformation initiatives.
