The Opportunity

ActewAGL has an exciting opportunity for an individual to lead a team of procurement professionals as our Manager Procurement. You will provide effective efficient and high-quality procurement and contract management services to Evoenergy.

The Team

The Procurement Group consists of a team of diverse Procurement professionals that enjoys building and nurturing relationships. The team helps the business achieve great commercial outcomes. Your day in the role
  • Identify develop and implement Evoenergys procurement plan
  • Undertake all aspects of end-to-end procurement including engagement with the business to understand their needs and develop appropriate sourcing strategies.
  • Promote the adherence to our procurement and contract management framework
  • Mentor and support your procurement team
  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with key strategic suppliers
  • Offer quality advice support and guidance on procurement and contract management to Evoenergy stakeholders.
  • Keep abreast of market developments and supply chain challenges developing strategies to avoid impact to the business.

About you
  • You have tertiary or relevant qualification / s in engineering business or procurement
  • You have proven experience in contract management as well as the management of strategic partnerships
  • You have demonstrated experience in building and improving supplier relationships
  • You have a strong ability to lead and support teams
  • You have excellent collaboration and negotiation skills with internal / external partners
