Grant Thornton Australia is seeking a Manager for Outsourced CFO Services in Australia. You will partner with senior leaders to uplift finance capability, forecast and report for mid-market clients, and drive end-to-end finance transformation.
The role is based in Sydney or Melbourne with hybrid work options. Ideal candidates have CA/CPA, 5–8 years in professional services, and a passion for client accounting, information systems and reporting tools, with strong MS 365 and Excel skills.

The Grant Thornton Outsourced CFO Services team sits within our national Private Enterprise practice, partnering with dynamic mid‑market clients to elevate their finance capability, deliver commercial insights and drive business performance.
As a Manager, you will work closely with senior leaders, including our national Outsourced CFO Partner group, who advise clients across sectors on strategic finance uplift, board reporting, cash flow optimisation, preparing forecasts and end‑to‑end finance transformation.
Recent engagements include: designing scalable finance functions for high‑growth businesses, forecasting and budgeting for investment decisions, setting up management reporting, and providing CFO‑level insights to clients based on deliverables.
This is a key growth role in an established, but expanding service offering, based in either Sydney or Melbourne.
