About the Position

Are you ready to lead infrastructure operations and make a lasting impact in one of Western Australia's most dynamic regions?

The Shire of Ashburton is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Manager Infrastructure Operations to join our Infrastructure Services Directorate. Based in the vibrant and welcoming community of Tom Price, this residential role offers an exciting opportunity to lead the delivery of maintenance and operational services, including routine, call-out, and planned works for all Shire of Ashburton managed land and built infrastructure assets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the delivery of scheduled maintenance programs to meet operational targets, ensuring continued optimisation of asset performance and efficient service delivery;
  • Oversee the delivery of reactive and corrective maintenance services to maintain operational continuity of plant and infrastructure, including after-hours callout support and participation in local emergency management responses; and
  • Provide expert operational support to the delivery of capital projects, ensuring alignment with asset management objectives and long-term infrastructure strategies.
About You

You will have qualifications or substantial experience relevant to the position, which may include civil engineering, civil maintenance, business administration, or management. You will bring strong leadership, strategic thinking, and excellent communication skills, with Local Government experience at a senior level highly desirable. A C Class Driver's Licence, White Card, and a current National Police Clearance (within six months of commencement) are also required.
