Job summary

IUSCA in Sydney Olympic Park is seeking a Level 7 High Performance Manager to lead a portfolio of NSWIS partnerships and programmes supporting elite and pre-elite athletes and coaches. You will negotiate and review partnership agreements, lead multidisciplinary teams, allocate financial resources, and use programme-management systems to track progress, risk and opportunity.

You will work with senior stakeholders to deliver integrated outcomes and foster environments for sustainable performance.

The role develops relationships with National Sporting Organisations and negotiates, implements, monitors and reviews partnership agreements against shared performance objectives. It leads multidisciplinary teams, builds high-performance culture, allocates financial resources and uses programme-management systems to track progress, risk and opportunity. Working with the senior leadership team, the manager is accountable for integrated programme outcomes and for creating environments in which athletes and coaches can perform sustainably.

Level 7. As one of three High Performance Managers, the appointee leads a portfolio of sport partnerships and programmes, negotiates and reviews partnership agreements, manages multidisciplinary teams and allocates financial resources while remaining accountable for performance outcomes. The role requires advanced strategic planning, systems management and influence across National Sporting Organisations and senior internal stakeholders. Its authority is substantial but bounded to an allocated portfolio rather than organisation-wide governance or profession-level standards, so Level 7 is the strongest fit. The employer requires relevant degree or coaching qualifications but does not name a strength and conditioning certification body.
