Shire of Augusta Margaret River is seeking a seasoned leader to head Community Health and Wellbeing. You will guide community development, public health and ranger services, delivering strategic direction, governance and innovative engagement across the Shire.

You will build partnerships, lead budget planning, and ensure policy compliance while driving improvements in community safety, health outcomes and resilience for Margaret River and surrounding areas.

Formación

• Proven experience leading and managing teams across community development, public/environmental health, ranger or regulatory services, and emergency preparedness, recovery and resilience.
• Strong strategic planning skills to set direction for community development, public health and safety services.
• Knowledge of local government legislation relevant to community development and health services.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain strategic partnerships and stakeholder relationships.
• Lead the Community Development, Public Health and Ranger Services teams.
• Oversee community grants and funding programs.
• Coordinate emergency readiness and disaster recovery planning.
• Lead development and monitoring of the Community Health and Wellbeing Strategy.
