Manager Business Partner Services
Location – Parramatta (Hybrid)
Employment type – Ongoing full-time role
Salary - $154,231.00 - $178,369.00 pa, plus superannuation and leave loading

Finance Business Partnering plays a key role in shaping strategy and supporting executives to make informed, evidence-based decisions. This role works at the intersection of central Finance and Homes NSW executives, providing trusted financial advice, insightful analysis and strategic oversight to help Divisions achieve their priorities while maintaining strong financial governance and accountability. It is an opportunity to work closely with senior leaders across Homes NSW, influence strategic outcomes and contribute to decisions that have a meaningful impact on the delivery of services to the NSW community.

The role provides trusted financial advice and strategic support to Divisional executives, helping them understand financial performance, manage risks and opportunities, and make informed decisions aligned with Homes NSW priorities. This includes partnering with the business on budgeting, forecasting and financial performance; analysing results and trends; identifying financial pressures and opportunities; and developing practical strategies to manage outcomes within approved funding.

The role also supports business cases and new initiatives through financial analysis, costing and funding advice, ensuring decisions align with government requirements, financial policies and strong governance. A key part of the role is building trusted relationships across Divisions, central Finance and other stakeholders to ensure finance is embedded in business decision-making.

The Homes NSW Finance Business Partnering team is a collaborative, high-performing and engaged team committed to delivering high-quality financial advice and support. As a relatively new team, we are actively establishing a strong culture built on trust, accountability, professionalism and shared success. We hold high standards, support each other and value constructive challenge, continuous improvement and strong relationships. We are ambitious to be recognised as a trusted and influential finance partner, valued for the quality, integrity and impact of the advice we provide.

What you’ll do
What we’re looking for

In addition to the essential requirements outlined in the role description, the ideal candidate is a qualified accountant and trusted business partner who builds strong relationships quickly, communicates with influence and is confident engaging with senior executives and stakeholders.

You will have proven experience providing high-quality financial advice at an executive level, ideally within a large and complex organisation.

You will bring high professional standards, strong strategic and commercial thinking, and a willingness to challenge the status quo and identify better ways of working. You will be outcomes-focused, reliable and accountable, with a strong track record of delivering on commitments in a fast-paced environment.

The role also requires strong leadership and stakeholder management capability, with the ability to lead and develop a team, build collaboration and navigate competing priorities and expectations. Above all, we are looking for someone who brings energy, integrity and a genuine commitment to making a difference through finance.

We focus on hiring people who share our commitment and goals of inclusion, collaboration, adaptability, courage and integrity. If you meet the essential requirements and the role resonates with you, we do not require you to meet every desired requirement for us to want to talk to you.
