Job summary

EY’s Manager – AI and Data in Technology Consulting based in Perth will lead complex technology-enabled transformation engagements across asset-intensive sectors. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, governance, and PMO activities to deliver measurable business outcomes in a flexible, hybrid Perth environment.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering technology-enabled transformations with measurable business outcomes.

The opportunity:

As a Manager within EY's AI & Data team in Technology Consulting, based in Perth, you will lead the delivery of complex business and technology transformation engagements across asset-intensive sectors.

You will bring together strong program management, business analysis and commercial acumen to translate strategy into practical outcomes. Working closely with senior technology executives and multidisciplinary teams, you will connect business, digital, data, change and value priorities, strengthen project and portfolio delivery, and support effective commercial and delivery decision‑making.

This is a hybrid role based in Perth, offering the opportunity to collaborate with clients and colleagues in person while also working flexibly.

Your Key Responsabilities

• Lead end-to-end technology-enabled transformation, program delivery and business improvement engagements, with a focus on tangible business outcomes and value
• Own and manage integrated program plans, milestones and dependencies, working with business, digital, data, change, product and delivery leads to maintain alignment and momentum
• Establish and oversee program governance, delivery frameworks, standards, reporting and controls to support consistent and high-quality execution
• Lead core PMO activities including planning, reporting, risk, issue, dependency, financial and delivery management
• Apply business analysis and technical business analysis capabilities to understand business needs, clarify requirements, analyse impacts and translate priorities into practical delivery outcomes
• Bring commercial acumen to delivery decisions by considering value, cost, priorities, dependencies and trade-offs in the context of broader business objectives
• Drive alignment across business, digital, data, change and value priorities, coordinating cross-functional decision‑making and resolving escalations that affect program outcomes
• Build trusted relationships with senior technology executives, program sponsors and other stakeholders, communicating progress, risks, commercial considerations and priorities clearly
• Manage delivery scope, schedule, risks, issues, dependencies, quality and stakeholder expectations throughout the delivery lifecycle
• Enable effective Agile ways of working by fostering collaboration, addressing delivery barriers and supporting teams to improve delivery flow, predictability and value
• Facilitate workshops and working sessions to explore business needs, evaluate options, resolve issues and drive decisions, alignment and action
• Use data analysis and visualisation, delivery insights and business analysis techniques to support evidence‑based decision‑making and measurable outcomes
• Coach junior team members and contribute to a strong, collaborative and delivery‑focused team culture

Skills and attributes for success

• Demonstrated capability delivering technology strategy, transformation, PMO, program or project delivery, business analysis or consulting engagements with tangible business outcomes
• Strong program and portfolio management capability, including integrated planning, governance, delivery controls, risk and issue management, reporting and stakeholder management
• Strong business analysis capability, with the ability to understand business needs, structure complex problems, define requirements and translate strategic priorities into practical delivery outcomes
• Commercial acumen and the ability to consider business value, cost, priorities, trade‑offs and delivery implications when supporting decisions
• Confidence working with senior technology executives and other stakeholders, with the ability to communicate complex business, technical and commercial information in a clear and practical way
• Ability to connect business, digital, data, change and value priorities and maintain alignment across multidisciplinary teams
• A hands‑on, outcome‑focused approach, with the ability to move between strategy, analysis, planning and execution

• A marketable technical specialisation, such as data analysis and visualisation, solution or enterprise architecture, Agile delivery, or another relevant technology capability.
• Experience in business analysis, technical business analysis or operating model implementation.
• Consulting experience in mining, utilities, infrastructure or another asset‑intensive environment.
