Job summary

Goodness Grown in Victoria is seeking a hands-on Management Accountant to support core finance operations and a major ERP implementation.

You will work closely with operational teams, drive budgeting and forecasting, enhance financial reporting, and strengthen data integrity through system integration and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Accounting or finance degree, with professional qualification preferred.
• Minimum 5 years in management accounting or similar role.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced Excel and experience with financial systems.
• Experience in ERP implementation is highly regarded.

We're investing in the systems, processes, and people needed to support our next phase of growth. We're seeking a motivated, commercially minded Accountant to join our Finance team to support both our core finance operations and the implementation of a new ERP system.

This role will play a key part in helping improve financial reporting, business processes, system integration, and data integrity during a significant period of change. This is a hands-on opportunity to work closely with operational stakeholders while contributing to a major business transformation project.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the implementation and rollout of the organisation's new ERP system.
• Support data migration, testing, validation, and process documentation activities.
• Partner with operational teams to understand business requirements and improve financial processes.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
• Analyse operational and financial performance to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
• Assist in developing financial controls, procedures, and reporting frameworks.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across finance and business operations.

About You

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Professional accounting qualification (e.g., CPA, CA) is preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in management accounting or a similar role.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with financial systems.
• Experience supporting an ERP implementation, system upgrade, or business transformation project will be highly regarded.
• Ability to communicate effectively with both finance and operational stakeholders.
• Proactive, adaptable, and comfortable working in a changing environment.
