Job summary

Imaging Associates (IA) is expanding its Rowville mammography service with a dedicated team of radiographers and breast specialists. The role focuses on delivering high-quality breast imaging, in collaboration with breast radiologists, technologists, and clinicians.

You will contribute to building a growing women’s imaging service, bringing expertise in mammography and interventional breast procedures within a welcoming, patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Proven capability in mammography and advanced breast procedures.
• Current AHPRA registration and a Victorian radiation use licence.
• Breast biopsy experience is highly regarded.
• Full Australian working rights as an Australian or NZ citizen or permanent resident.

Responsibilities

• Join radiography team working across X-ray, CT, MRI and Ultrasound.
• Provide professional breast imaging and mammography services.
• Collaborate with specialised breast radiologists, technologists and clinicians.

Job description

Imaging Associates (IA) is a respected, doctor-led radiology group with a rapidly growing network across Melbourne, Gippsland and Wagga Wagga. We bring together clinical expertise and advanced diagnostic imaging technology to provide exceptional, patient-centred care.

As part of our expansion of services, we are opening a new mammography service at our purpose-built Rowville clinic. The clinic gives the local community convenient access to comprehensive medical imaging in a modern, welcoming setting and is equipped with state-of-the-art technology for CT, ultrasound, X-ray and interventional procedures.

An on-site radiologist is available five days a week, enabling interventional procedures, timely reporting and direct communication with referrers. This connected approach supports efficient, coordinated care and better patient outcomes.

Under the leadership of Clinical Director Dr Hamish McKay, the Rowville team combines outstanding medical care with a supportive and compassionate experience for every patient.

Your new role at our Rowville clinic

We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Mammographer to join our highly skilled radiography team, which works currently across X-ray, CT, MRI and Ultrasound

In this role, your mammography expertise will be integral to the growth of our Rowville practice. You will work closely with specialised breast radiologists, technologists and clinical colleagues to provide professional, respectful and compassionate breast imaging. You will also have the opportunity to contribute ideas and help shape an expanding women’s imaging service from the outset.
