Responsibilities

• Plan and execute safe, efficient maintenance across the shift.
• Lead the Afternoon Shift Maintenance Team and coach members.

• Drive cost savings, improvements and innovations across the plant.
• Collaborate with Operations, Planner, Contractors and R&D as required.
• Provide hands-on maintenance including preventive tasks and breakdown support.

About the Role

We’re looking for a hands‑on Maintenance Supervisor to lead our Afternoon Shift Maintenance Team at Lisarow, NSW. In this role, you’ll be right in the thick of it — driving preventative maintenance, keeping critical manufacturing equipment running at peak performance, and ensuring the site hits maximum uptime day after day.

You’ll bring a proven track record of delivering results through teamwork, coaching, and leading from the front. This is a fast‑paced, high‑volume FMCG environment, so you’ll need to think on your feet, respond quickly to breakdowns, and juggle multiple priorities without missing a beat.

Key Duties Include:

• Take ownership for safe, efficient planning and execution of all maintenance work in MEX each shift.
• Lead by example, with a hands on approach.
• Ensure product quality and system compliance across all maintenance activities.
• Build a high-performing team culture — coach, support, and hold your team accountable to plant programs and standards.
• Partner closely with Operations each shift to ensure production targets are met.
• Identify and drive cost savings, improvements and innovation across the plant.
• Work alongside the Maintenance Planner, Operations Leaders, Contractors, and R&D teams.
• Deliver hands‑on maintenance: preventative maintenance, fitting & machining, general welding, troubleshooting, RCA, repairs and breakdown support.
• Provide shift coverage when required.

About You

• Proactive and passionate about continuous improvement.
• Experience in manufacturing (FMCG experience highly valued).
• TIG or purge welding skills (advantageous but not essential).
• Strong fault-finding and root cause analysis capability.
