Job summary

Harvey Beef, based in Western Australia’s farming heartland, is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Supervisor to lead a team of technicians, trades assistants and apprentices in a high-volume meat processing environment.

You will drive preventative maintenance, prioritise work with the planner, diagnose faults, and ensure safety and compliance, while controlling costs and supporting continuous improvement. This role offers stability, career development and a strong safety culture.

Qualifications

• Recognised mechanical trade certificate.
• 5+ years in FMCG environment, ideally food or red meat processing.
• Demonstrated leadership or supervision experience in maintenance operations.
• Strong working knowledge of CMMS and safety systems.
• Budgeting and KPI management experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of Maintenance Technicians, Trades Assistants and Apprentices.
• Coordinate and oversee preventative maintenance and breakdown work.
• Prioritise backlog with Maintenance Planner and optimise plant uptime.
• Diagnose complex equipment faults and implement lasting solutions.
• Lead root cause analysis and drive corrective actions.
• Maintain safety documentation and CMMS records and ensure WHS compliance.
