We are seeking Maintenance SMEs with deep expertise in high-speed rail maintenance.

Responsibilities
  • Support the O&MA Manager in the delivery of all operations and maintenance advisory services.
  • Provide expert advisory services for the development of maintenance strategies, frameworks, and plans for high-speed rail systems (>250 km/h).
  • Support maintenance readiness, asset lifecycle planning, and maintenance process design.
  • Contribute specialist expertise to maintenance of fixed assets in extensive tunnels, including civil, structural, track, and systems (MEP).
  • Lead the identification, functional assessment, and risk evaluation of infrastructure maintenance needs.
  • Provide insights into stabling and staging activities during limited maintenance windows.
  • Advise on maintenance facility requirements, including workshop design and maintenance vehicle operations.
  • Support maintenance planning for revenue rolling stock operating at >250 km/h.
  • Promote the use of condition monitoring technologies and data-driven maintenance optimisation techniques.
  • Collaborate with engineering, safety, RAMS, operations, and project management teams.
  • Provide documentation, technical reports, and expert recommendations to leadership and clients.
Qualifications
  • 15 years of experience in railway maintenance, preferably high-speed rail (>250 km/h).
  • Professional engineering qualifications at Chartered Engineer level or equivalent.
  • Demonstrable expertise in:
    • Maintenance of fixed assets (civil, structural, track, MEP)
    • Maintenance in extensive tunnel environments
    • Infrastructure maintenance planning and risk assessment
    • Rolling stock maintenance for high-speed operations
    • Maintenance staging and stabling under tight operational windows
    • Maintenance vehicle workshop operations
    • Condition monitoring and predictive/optimised maintenance strategies
  • Strong understanding of international high-speed rail maintenance best practices.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work across multidisciplinary and multicultural teams.
