Qualifications

• Relevant Mechanical, Electrical or Engineering trade qualifications or a technical discipline.
• Understanding of building and equipment maintenance, electrical and mechanical systems, plumbing and general repairs.
• Experience leading a maintenance team within a manufacturing environment.
• Sound administrative, reporting and organizational capabilities.
• Commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance of winery production equipment and packaging lines.
• Coordinate breakdown response and prioritise maintenance to support production.
• Develop and deliver maintenance planning using the MEX system.
• Direct external contractors and manage projects on schedule.
• Manage facilities and maintenance budget and control costs.
• Lead and mentor the maintenance team.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Plan and schedule meetings; coordinate safety drills.
