Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience planning and scheduling preventive, corrective and breakdown maintenance
• Experience supervising maintenance activities, tradespeople, contractors or external service providers
• Familiarity with CMMS and MS Office tools

Maintenance Manager - Manufacturing (Geelong based)

We're currently recruiting an experienced Maintenance Manager to support an established heavy manufacturing facility in Geelong. This role will oversee maintenance planning, plant reliability, contractor performance, and improvement activities across fixed and mobile plant and equipment.

This is a full-time, permanent, day-shift position with an immediate start available.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate preventative, corrective, and improvement maintenance activities
• Coordinate and supervise contractors, service providers, and tradespeople
• Monitor the performance and reliability of fixed and mobile plant and equipment
• Develop annual maintenance budgets and shutdown plans, and manage their execution
• Maintain accurate maintenance procedures, schedules, registers, and documentation
• Support site safety activities, inspections, hazard reporting, and maintenance compliance

Skills and Requirements

• Mechanical trade qualifications or a degree in Mechanical Engineering will be highly regarded, with graduate engineers considered where they have relevant practical maintenance experience
• Strong hands-on experience supporting maintenance within heavy manufacturing, industrial production, rail, transport, mining, infrastructure or a similar environment
• Experience planning and scheduling preventative, corrective and breakdown maintenance
• Previous experience supervising maintenance activities, tradespeople, contractors or external service providers
• Familiarity with CMMS platforms and Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and Project will be advantageous
