Job summary

LiveHire Limited in Mount Isa is seeking a passionate Maintenance Handyperson to join the Redearth Hotel and Isa Hotel teams. The casual, Monday-to-Friday role covers general upkeep, yard and cellar work, and proactive problem solving to keep guest areas well maintained.

You will work 30–35 hours per week with some out-of-hours responsibilities, applying hands-on maintenance experience across hospitality spaces while upholding WHS standards.

Qualifications

• Hands-on maintenance experience and ability to troubleshoot common issues.
• Knowledge of WHS standards and Safe Work Procedures.
• A current Queensland driver’s licence is essential for this role.

Responsibilities

• Perform general public area and groundskeeping duties.
• Undertake a wide range of maintenance tasks.
• Assist with yard and cellar work as required.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve basic maintenance issues.
• Follow all Workplace Health & Safety standards and Safe Work Procedures.
