Job summary

Oaks Cypress Lakes Resort is seeking proactive Handypersons for Full-Time and Casual roles to keep guest rooms, public areas and facilities well-maintained and safe. You will perform repairs, painting, and coordinate with external contractors to sustain high standards.

Join a team focused on guest experience, safety, and reliability with a flexible roster across seven days, including weekends and public holidays.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in building, facilities, or property maintenance (12 months preferred but not essential).
• Painting experience highly regarded.
• Strong problem-solving and ability to work independently.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Flexibility to work weekends and public holidays.
• Trade qualifications or licences appreciated but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Carry out general repairs and maintenance across guest rooms, public areas, and resort facilities.
• Complete painting, patching, and minor refurbishment works as required.
• Oversee and support external contractors when required.
• Implement and maintain the property's preventative maintenance program.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and operational issues.
• Keep accurate records of daily tasks, maintenance requests, and service schedules.
• Ensure all work is carried out safely and in line with company policies and procedures.
• Full-Time and Casual opportunities available.
