Job summary

RFBI Glen Innes Masonic Village seeks an experienced Maintenance Officer to deliver a range of reactive and proactive maintenance tasks across the village. This part-time role focuses on building and garden maintenance, creating a homely environment for residents to enjoy.

You will perform general maintenance, identify defects, maintain gardens, and supervise external contractors in servicing the village. A trade qualification or extensive experience in maintenance/gardening, WH&S knowledge,

Qualifications

• Trade qualification or proven maintenance and gardening experience.
• Knowledge of WH&S responsibilities.
• First Aid Certificate and valid Driver's License.
• Excellent people skills and empathy for older residents.
• Willingness to participate in risk management and continuous quality improvement.

Responsibilities

• General maintenance and handyman tasks around the village.
• Identifying, managing and resolving defects in the village.
• Maintaining garden areas to keep them well kept.
• Supervising and coordinating external contractors in servicing the village.
