Job summary

Ayers Rock Resort is seeking a Maintenance & Grounds Assistant Manager to live and work onsite at Yulara, NT. You will support the Maintenance & Grounds Manager with day-to-day supervision and coordinate the team to maintain guest areas, pools, and grounds across the resort.

Ideal candidates will have hands-on maintenance leadership, coaching skills and a focus on guest satisfaction. Relocation assistance and on-site staff amenities are offered to support relocation and retention.

• Experience in maintenance leadership and team supervision.
• Knowledge of preventative maintenance is advantageous.

Ayers Rock Resort is searching for a Maintenance & Grounds Assistant Manager to live and work onsite at Yulara, NT which is 20 min drive from Uluru, one of Australia's most iconic and culturally significant landmarks.

We are seeking an experienced and hands-on maintenance professional with strong leadership skills to join our Hotel Maintenance Team. This role will see you supporting the Maintenance & Grounds Manager in the supervision, development and day-to-day coordination of the team, while ensuring the efficient maintenance, repair and presentation of hotel facilities, guest areas, pools, grounds and infrastructure across Outback Hotel & Lodge, Contractors Village & Campground.

Key Duties

• Support the Maintenance & Grounds Manager with the day-to-day supervision and coordination of the Maintenance Team.
• Carry out preventative maintenance, repairs and fault-finding across guest rooms, public areas, pools, kitchens, retail outlets and resort grounds.
• Provide on-the-job training, coaching and support to new and existing team members.
• Prioritise and attend to urgent maintenance requests to ensure a high level of guest satisfaction.
• Deputise for the Maintenance & Grounds Manager during periods of absence, including assisting with rostering, attendance management and operational administration.
