Zusammenfassung

Blackmores in Braeside, Victoria seeks an Electrical and Mechanical Technician to provide high-quality electrical and mechanical support to our manufacturing operations. You will diagnose and repair equipment, perform fault-finding and implement sustainable improvements that enhance uptime and performance.

This role operates on the afternoon shift at the Braeside Manufacturing Site, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure safe, efficient operations and adherence to quality systems.

Qualifikationen

• A mechanical trade certificate or extensive hands-on mechanical experience.
• Significant maintenance experience within a Quality Management System manufacturing environment, ideally pharmaceutical, FMCG or food manufacturing.
• Experience troubleshooting Allen-Bradley and/or Siemens control systems.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding capabilities across electrical and mechanical equipment.
• Ability to work autonomously while also contributing effectively within a diverse team.
• Clear verbal communication skills and the ability to understand written documentation, technical instructions and procedures.
• A self-motivated approach, strong work ethic and enthusiasm for improving processes, procedures and systems.
• Strong knowledge of, and commitment to, workplace environment, health and safety requirements.
• A practical, resourceful and continuous-improvement mindset.

The Opportunity

The purpose of the Electrical and Mechanical Technician role is to provide high-quality electrical and mechanical support to our manufacturing operations, helping to maintain the reliability, safety and performance of our plant and equipment.

Working closely with manufacturing teams and a range of internal stakeholders, you will diagnose and repair equipment breakdowns, perform technical fault-finding and implement sustainable improvements that increase plant uptime and operational efficiency.

This role operates on the afternoon shift and is based in our Braeside Manufacturing Site, Victoria.

What You’ll Be Doing

Providing electrical and mechanical support to manufacturing operations, addressing immediate equipment challenges while identifying sustainable improvements.

Performing high-level diagnostic fault-finding across electrical and mechanical systems.

Diagnosing and repairing equipment breakdowns, with a focus on achieving a “first-time fix”.

Providing PLC troubleshooting support across control systems, including Allen-Bradley and Siemens equipment.

What You’ll Bring
