Job summary

Primo is seeking a Maintenance Fitter to join our onsite team in Chullora. You will contribute to the reliability, safety and efficiency of production lines through proactive, planned maintenance.

Choose the shift that works for you: Day shift: Monday to Friday, 6am - 2:30pm; Afternoon shift: Monday to Friday, 2:30pm - 11pm. This role offers work/life balance with no rotating roster and overtime opportunities.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade (or equivalent).
• Food manufacturing or industrial experience preferred.
• Technical expertise on process/packaging equipment and pneumatic systems.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Motivated, proactive and safety-conscious attitude.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on production equipment.
• Complete activities for production startups and/or shutdown.
• Conduct Root Cause Analysis with automation technicians and engineering.
• Work with hydraulics, pneumatics, welding, and general mechanical tasks.
• Coordinate with planners and automation technicians to ensure lines are efficient and productive every day.

Job description
