Maintenance Fitter – Food Manufacturing - Afternoon Shift

Western Sydney - $50 - $55 an hour + Loading + Overtime + Super

The Role:

You’ll be responsible for delivering both preventative and breakdown maintenance across the site. This includes fault finding, repairs, equipment installations, and ensuring machinery runs safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine preventative maintenance on production equipment
• Diagnose and repair mechanical faults and breakdowns
• Support root cause analysis and follow-up actions
• Keep detailed records of maintenance tasks and repairs
• Collaborate with production teams to ensure equipment uptime
• Comply with GMP, WHS, and site standards

About You:

• Trade-qualified Maintenance Fitter with 3+ years' experience
• Background in food manufacturing, high-speed packaging, or FMCG
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
• Welding and lathe experience (advantageous)
• Able to work under pressure and respond quickly to breakdowns
• Solid understanding of GMP, safety protocols, and maintenance systems
