Job summary

Chobani Australia is seeking Maintenance Electricians – Day Shift (6.00am - 6:00pm) at the Dandenong South site to support reliability and maintenance programs. The role focuses on breakdown response, fault finding, and preventative maintenance to meet shift production targets.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of work and commissioning in a high-speed manufacturing plant.
• GMP, HACCP, Quality/Food Safety Management and ISO Certification experience.
• Food or Dairy experience 2–3 years.
• Experience in process control/instrumentation and SCADA systems; able to read electrical schematics and P&IDs.
• Experience using Mex or similar CMMS software.
• Hazard awareness within an industrial process environment.

• Assist in developing and implementing plant reliability and maintenance programs.
• Respond to breakdowns with high-quality fault finding and preventative maintenance.

About the role

Due to continued growth at our Dandenong South site, Chobani is looking for Maintenance Electricians – Day Shift (6.00am - 6:00pm) The role will be accountable for assisting in the development and implementation of plant reliability and maintenance programs.

This role is specifically shift based with a strong focus on breakdown response, high quality fault finding, preventative and planned maintenance to support the production roles in achieving their shift production targets.

The role also has clear accountability to understand manufacturing processes within yoghurt plants and will assist in key electrical maintenance activities.

The role will act as an electrical resource for the business and take part in continuous improvement initiatives which deliver improvements in quality, cost, delivery and safety..

Key Responsibilities

Ideally to be successful in the role you’ll have:

• 5 - 8 year work and commissioning experience in a high speed manufacturing plant environment
• Working knowledge of GMP, HACCP, Quality/Food Safety Management and ISO Certification
• Food or Dairy experience at least 2 - 3 years
• Experience in process control/instrumentation and SCADA systems, understanding of electrical schematics and P&IDs
• Experience in using Mex or similar CMMS software
• Competence and hazard awareness within an industrial process industry and advantage
• Experience in Microsoft Office Suite
