Job summary

Primo is seeking a Maintenance Electrician to join our on-site team in Wacol. You will contribute to the safe and reliable operation of our production facility through proactive electrical maintenance.

The role offers a balanced work life with no rotating roster and optional overtime, with day or afternoon shifts. The position requires a current QLD Electrical Work Licence, a proactive safety mindset, and strong communication across levels.

Qualifications

Current QLD Electrical Work Licence (or equivalent).
Motivated, proactive and safety-conscious attitude.
Willingness to learn and retain knowledge.
Ability to communicate clearly and confidently across all levels as a collaborative team player.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.

Responsibilities

Perform scheduled preventative electrical maintenance to maximise equipment uptime.
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electrical, control, power distribution and automation systems.
Respond promptly to electrical faults, alarms, and breakdowns to minimise production disruption.
Maintain and optimise PLCs, control systems, and electrical infrastructure for consistent operation.
Ensure all work complies with safety standards, regulations, and company procedures.
Drive continuous improvement by identifying recurring faults, participating in root cause analysis, and recommending long-term reliability improvements.
