Job summary

Blackbook Recruitment is seeking an experienced Maintenance Electrician for a dayshift role in a busy food manufacturing facility in Wacol, QLD. You will perform preventative maintenance, diagnose faults, and improve reliability on production equipment within a safety-conscious environment.

The ideal candidate holds an A-Grade Electrical Licence with industrial maintenance experience, and has strong fault-finding skills. PLC/automation familiarity is highly regarded.

Qualifications

• A-Grade Electrical Licence is required.
• Experience in industrial/manufacturing maintenance.
• Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills.

• Proactive approach to preventative maintenance and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and reactive maintenance on production machinery.

Food Manufacturing | Permanent Opportunity
Location: Wacol
Candidate: Food/FMCG/Pharmaceutical experience as an Electrician needed

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Electrician to join a well-established food manufacturing facility on a day shift roster.
This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on electrician to work within a busy production environment, carrying out preventative maintenance, troubleshooting breakdowns and improving equipment reliability.

The Role

• Perform preventative and reactive maintenance on production machinery.
• Troubleshoot electrical faults and minimise production downtime.
• Work with motors, sensors, PLCs and automated equipment.
• Identify and implement improvements to equipment reliability.
• Ensure all maintenance activities meet safety and compliance standards.
• Work closely with the maintenance and production teams.

About You

• A-Grade Electrical Licence.
