Job summary

Goodman Fielder's Burleigh Heads bakery on the Gold Coast is hiring a Shift Maintenance Electrician to join the on-site team. You will perform preventative and reactive maintenance on automated bakery equipment and utilities, troubleshoot electrical circuits and PLC systems, and support production to maximise plant reliability.

The role offers an equal-time 12-hour roster, strong career progression across a national network, and the chance to work with modern automation in a fast-paced FMCG

Qualifications

• QLD Electrical Licence (mandatory).
• Industrial, FMCG or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of PLCs and automation (Allen-Bradley highly regarded).

Responsibilities

• Preventative and reactive maintenance across automated bakery equipment and utilities.
• High-level troubleshooting of electrical circuits, instrumentation and PLC systems.
• Support production to drive plant reliability, safety and performance improvements.

We're searching for a Shift Maintenance Electrician to join our on-site maintenance team—working an equal-time 12-hour day/night roster in a role that offers stability, development and the chance to work with modern automation and industrial technology.

What You'll Be Doing

• Preventative and reactive maintenance across automated bakery equipment and utilities
• High-level troubleshooting of electrical circuits, instrumentation and PLC systems (Allen-Bradley experience ideal)
• Supporting production teams to drive plant reliability, safety and continuously improve equipment performance
• Identifying improvement opportunities and working within a strong maintenance culture
• Contributing to a positive, high-performance team environment on shift

What You Bring

• Strong fault-finding and diagnostics capability
