Job summary

Pedwards Group is seeking an experienced Carpenter to join our team across a variety of sites, from doors to rectification works. This hands-on role suits a trade-qualified carpenter who takes ownership, can solve problems on site and work with other trades.

Qualifications

• Trade-qualified carpenter with solid all-round experience.
• Strong problem-solving skills and practical approach.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good workmanship and attention to detail.
• Reliable, organised and able to take ownership of your jobs.
• Current White Card.
• Current Australian Driver's Licence.

Responsibilities

• Carry out general carpentry maintenance, building repairs and minor works.
• Repair, adjust and replace doors, door hardware, locks and associated components.
• Repair walls, ceilings, partitions, skirting, trims, cabinetry and general building finishes.
• Carry out minor alterations, make-good works and refurbishment works.
• Investigate building issues and work out practical repair solutions.
• Complete defect and rectification works.
• Work alongside other trades where required.
• Liaise professionally with clients, tenants and site contacts.
• Complete job reports, photos and timesheets using our job management system.
• Maintain company tools, equipment and vehicle.
• Follow company WHS procedures and site requirements.

Job description

Pedwards Group is looking for an experienced and motivated Carpenter to join our team.

This is a varied, hands-on role suited to a trade-qualified carpenter who enjoys problem-solving, working across different sites and taking ownership of their work.

Our carpenters work across a variety of sites and jobs, from doors and general building repairs through to rectification works, minor works, alterations and fit-out works.

You don’t need a commercial maintenance background. If you’re a qualified carpenter with solid all-round experience and are looking for a bit more variety, we’d be happy to hear from you.

What You'll Be Doing

Carry out general carpentry maintenance, building repairs and minor works.

Repair, adjust and replace doors, door hardware, locks and associated components.

Repair walls, ceilings, partitions, skirting, trims, cabinetry and general building finishes.

Carry out minor alterations, make-good works and refurbishment works.

Investigate building issues and work out practical repair solutions.

Complete defect and rectification works.

Work alongside other trades where required.

Liaise professionally with clients, tenants and site contacts.

Complete job reports, photos and timesheets using our job management system.

Maintain company tools, equipment and vehicle.

Follow company WHS procedures and site requirements.

What We're Looking For
