Job summary

Southern NSW Local Health District in NSW is seeking a Maintenance Assistant - Physical Resources to perform hands-on general maintenance and gardening, keeping facilities, grounds and gardens safe, functional and welcoming. This role supports a positive environment for staff, patients and visitors.

You will assist the Site Maintenance Officer with maintenance and enhancement at Coffs Harbour Health Campus and ancillary facilities, with travel between sites as required.

About the Role

As a Maintenance Assistant - Physical Resources, you will play an important role in keeping our facilities, grounds and gardens looking their best. This hands-on role involves a variety of general maintenance and gardening tasks, helping to ensure our environment remains safe, functional and welcoming for staff, patients and visitors. Working closely with a supportive team, you will contribute to the ongoing upkeep of buildings and outdoor areas while identifying opportunities to improve the services we provide. Travel between sites may be required as part of the role.

You are a practical, reliable and motivated team player who enjoys hands-on work and takes pride in a job well done. With experience in general maintenance and gardening, you have a keen eye for maintaining grounds and outdoor spaces to a high standard.
