Job summary

Australia Post is seeking a Retail Postage Sorter to help keep millions of Australians connected by moving mail and parcels through our Post Offices and delivery facilities. You will sort mail, distribute to PO Boxes, and support admin while delivering excellent customer service in a team environment.

The role includes a comprehensive paid training program of six weeks, full-time hours, and a shift pattern from Monday to Friday, 5.00am–5.00pm.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 16 kg.
• Willingness to stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Manually sort incoming mail and parcels within the facility
• Sort and distribute mail to the appropriate PO Boxes
• Support administrative activities, including stocktaking and maintaining records
• Deliver exceptional customer service to customers collecting parcels and mail items
