Job summary

MployHR is seeking a reliable and physically fit Machine Operator to join the Brisbane manufacturing team on the morning shift. You will support day-to-day machine operation and general warehouse duties in a busy production environment.

The role involves operating an automated machine for door hinging, loading and unloading stock, and maintaining a clean, safe workspace. Training is provided, with onboarding and pre-employment checks as required.

Qualifications

• Basic machine operating, production or warehouse experience.
• Experience in timber processing or door manufacturing (desirable).
• Physically fit with ability to perform manual handling.
• Able to lift up to approximately 40 kg with assistance.
• Full and unrestricted working rights in Australia.

About the Role

Our client is a leading Australian manufacturer of quality doors and building products, currently seeking reliable and physically fit Machine Operator to join their busy warehouse and manufacturing team in Brisbane.

Day Shift – 6:00 AM–2:00 PM | $32.95 /hr + Super

About the Role

You will be responsible for supporting day-to-day Machine Operation warehouse operations along with general warehouse and production duties.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate an automated machine used for door hinging.
• Perform a balanced mix of machine operation and general warehouse duties as required
• Load, unload and move stock safely
• Undertake regular manual handling
• Maintain a clean, safe and organized work environment
• Follow workplace health and safety procedures

About You

• Basic machine operating, production or warehouse experience.
• Experience in timber processing, door manufacturing or a similar manufacturing environment (desirable, but not essential).
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
• Able to safely handle products weighing up to approximately 40kg with assistance
• Reliable, punctual and committed to ongoing work
• Good attention to detail and a strong work ethic
• Able to work effectively as part of a team
• Must have full and unrestricted working rights in Australia

Training & Support:

Full training provided, with an estimated training period of 1–3 months depending on your learning progress.

Initial training will focus on basic manual tasks before progressing to machine operation.

Work involves timber materials.

You'll need to go on a site tour/meet & greet (on-site) before commencing.

Successful candidates will be required to complete pre-employment medical and Drug & Alcohol testing prior to commencement.
