Job summary

Labelmakers Group in Sydney's Arndell Park NSW is seeking an experienced Die Cutter Machine Operator (Bobst) to join the day shift.

Reporting to the Operations/Production Manager, Cartons, you will contribute to all steps in our production process, ensuring quality, GMP compliance, safety and efficient operation across the die-cutting equipment.

Qualifications

• Ideally experience in a carton or packaging manufacturing environment.
• Experience operating a Die Cutter/Bobst is highly regarded.
• Demonstrated planning and organisational skills.
• Be a team player with clear communication across groups.
• Able to work autonomously and be self-motivated.
• High attention to detail and pride in work quality.

Responsibilities

• Safe and controlled running of the Die Cutting machines.
• Efficient set-up of the Die Cutting machines and preparation of tooling, labels and raw materials.
• Support the team with corrective measures and minor preventative maintenance.
• Interact well and maintain positive relationships across production functions.
• Contribute to GMP, quality, safety and housekeeping practices throughout production.

About the opportunity:

We are now looking for an experienced Die Cutter Machine Operator (Bobst) to join our team in Arndell Park NSW on day shift.

Reporting to the Operations/Production Manager, Cartons, you will be an integral member of the Production team.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Safe and controlled running of the Die Cutting machines.
• Efficient set-up of the Die Cutting machines and preparation of the tooling, labels, and other raw materials to maximise equipment efficiency.
• Support the team implementing corrective measures and perform minor preventative maintenance to ensure continuous machine operation.
• Interact well and maintain a positive relationship with all production functions.
• You will contribute to all steps in our production process and practices including, Quality, Safety, Good Manufacturing practice (GMP) housekeeping and Environmental control measures.

To be successful in this role you will need:

• Ideally, experience working in a Carton or packaging manufacturing environment (preferred but not essential).
• Experience Operating a Die Cutter/Bobst will be highly regarded.
• Demonstrated planning and organisational skills.
• Be a team player that can communicate effectively across multiple work groups.
• Able to work autonomously and are self-motivated.
• To have high attention to detail and proud of your work standard – quality focus.
