Job summary

Orora Beverage is seeking a manufacturing operator to join our team on a 12-hour rotating shift roster. You will maintain safety, quality and production standards while running high-speed machinery, performing changeovers and adjustments.

We value proactive team players with strong communication, basic computer skills and mechanical aptitude. Manufacturing or printing experience is advantageous; may require a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol testing.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safety, quality and manufacturing standards.
• Operate high-speed machinery including performing changeovers and adjustments.
• Troubleshoot and perform maintenance tasks on equipment.
• Assist in machinery changeovers and follow SOPs.
• Read and follow SOPs to ensure compliance.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and world-class operational performance.
• Be a proactive and enthusiastic team member.

The Role

Reporting into the shift supervisor and working a 12hr rotating shift the key responsibilities of the role will include but are not limited to:

• Maintaining safety, quality, and manufacturing standards
• Operating high speed machinery including:
• performing changeovers
• troubleshooting
• machine adjustments
• maintenance tasks
• Assist in machinery changeovers.
• Reading & following SOP's
• Contributing to our approach of continuous improvement and helping to achieve world class operational performance.
• Be a proactive and enthusiastic team member.

Across our roster patterns, the minimum annualised earnings for the role will be $82,671 per year.
