Job summary

JBS Pork Australia—Farming Team is seeking a Welder to support the Corowa site. This full-time role delivers efficient repair and maintenance for facilities and equipment within our operations.

You will perform welding, fabrication, fitting, machining and on-site maintenance, with responsibilities spanning installation, repairs, and project work in line with company priorities. A trade qualification and strong mechanical maintenance knowledge are required.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification or equivalent experience.
• Proven mechanical maintenance experience.
• Experience with fitting, machining and general equipment maintenance.
• Working knowledge of maintenance procedures.
• Strong communication, initiative and attention to detail.
• Good time management and organisational skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Willingness to work flexible hours.
• Intermediate computer skills.
• Current driver’s licence.

Responsibilities

• Perform general fitting, welding, fabricating, machining and equipment maintenance.
• Perform on-site maintenance, equipment installation and breakdown repairs.
• Undertake daily work routines and project work according to Company needs.
• Organise tools, equipment and materials to perform the job.
• Maintain tools and equipment in safe, proper working condition.
• Provide technical input on engineering improvements to production systems and facilities.
• Contribute to key business activities as required.
• Adhere to all Company policies, procedures and work instructions at all times.
• Perform other duties as directed.

About the Role

JBS Pork Australia - Farming Team is currently recruiting a Welder to support the team at our Corowa site.

This full‑time position is responsible for providing an efficient and effective repair and maintenance service for Company facilities and equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform general fitting, welding, fabricating, machining and equipment maintenance.
• Perform on‑site maintenance, equipment installation and breakdown repairs.
• Undertake daily work routines, jobs and project work in accordance with Company needs and priorities.
• Organise tools, equipment and materials to perform the job.
• Maintain tools and equipment in a safe and proper working condition.
• Provide technical input on engineering improvements to production systems and facilities.
